All are welcome at Cadboro Bay United whoever you are and whatever brings you here; whether you are actively looking for a Church to join; searching for greater meaning in your life; experiencing a time of crisis or simply curious to know what it’s all about.
We invite you to join us at our 10am Sunday service. There are no expectations in terms of what you believe, how much you participate, what you commit to or where you are in your faith journey.
Grab a coffee on the way in, choose a comfy chair to sit on and relax in the friendly atmosphere. The service is alive with children, music, laughter and song. The sermons offer a relevant, contemporary perspective on the bible that challenge us to grow our capacity to act with love, caring, compassion, generosity, acceptance and justice towards all.
Join us afterwards for more coffee, juice, cookies and chat. If you take a blue newcomers mug, we’ll introduce ourselves and try to help with that awkward ‘first time in a new group’ experience.
Those with kids don’t need to worry about them disrupting our worship with their lively expression. Children play a big part in the life of our Church and we believe that their actions and words (however loud!) help point the way. Kids join the first part of the service and are then welcome to stay, or participate in Sunday school activities. We also have a crèche for babies and toddlers.
